Article 64: Consumer Council

Part Seven: Consumer Bodies › Chapter One: Consumer Council and Advertisement Council

(1) The Consumer Council shall convene at least once a year under the coordination of the Ministry for the purpose of identifying consumer problems and needs, researching the necessary measures for the protection of consumer interests, and conveying its opinions on measures concerning the implementation of this Law to the relevant authorities for priority consideration.

(2) The number of representatives from public institutions and organisations on the Consumer Council may under no circumstances exceed fifty per cent of the total number of members of the Council.

(3) The members, working procedures and principles of the Consumer Council and other matters shall be determined by regulation.

MADDE 64 · Tüketici Konseyi

(1) Tüketici sorunlarının ve ihtiyaçlarının belirlenmesi ile çıkarlarının korunmasına ilişkin gerekli tedbirleri araştırmak ve bu Kanunun uygulanmasına yönelik tedbirlere dair görüşleri öncelikle ele alınmak üzere ilgili mercilere iletmek amacıyla yılda en az bir kez Bakanlığın koordinatörlüğünde Tüketici Konseyi toplanır.

(2) Tüketici Konseyine kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarından gelen temsilcilerin sayısı, hiçbir şekilde Konseyin toplam üye sayısının yüzde ellisinden fazla olamaz.

(3) Tüketici Konseyinin üyeleri, çalışma usul ve esasları ile diğer hususlar yönetmelikle belirlenir.
