Article 51: Rights and safeguards granted to stateless persons

Part Two: Foreigners › Chapter Three: Stateless Persons

(1) Persons holding a Stateless Person Identity Document:

a) May apply to obtain one of the residence permits provided for in this Law,

b) Shall not be deported unless they pose a serious threat in terms of public order or public security,

c) Shall be exempt from the reciprocity requirement sought in procedures concerning foreigners,

ç) Shall be subject to the provisions of Law No. 4817 in matters and procedures relating to work permits,

d) May benefit from the provisions of Article 18 of Law No. 5682.

MADDE 51 · Vatansız kişilere tanınan haklar ve güvenceler

(1) Vatansız Kişi Kimlik Belgesine sahip kişiler;

a) Bu Kanundaki ikamet izinlerinden birini almak üzere talepte bulunabilirler,

b) Kamu düzeni veya kamu güvenliği açısından ciddi tehdit oluşturmadıkları sürece sınır dışı edilmezler,

c) Yabancılarla ilgili işlemlerde aranan karşılıklılık şartından muaf tutulurlar,

ç) Çalışma izniyle ilgili iş ve işlemlerde 4817 sayılı Kanun hükümlerine tabidirler,

d) 5682 sayılı Kanunun 18 inci maddesi hükümlerinden yararlanabilirler.
