Sentences one to four repealed: 2/7/2018, Decree-Law No. 703, Art. 167 Where the office of the President or of a member becomes vacant for any reason before the expiry of the term of office, other than by renewal, an election and appointment shall be made to the vacant position within one month. In that case, the person appointed shall complete the term of the person whom he or she replaces.
The President and members of the Board may not be dismissed for any reason before the expiry of their terms of office. However, the duties of the President and members of the Board who are found to have lost the requirements necessary for their appointment or whose situation is found to be contrary to Article 25 of this Law, or whose commission of an offence in connection with the duties conferred by Law is established by a court decision, shall terminate by a decision of the Board.

MADDE 24 · Görev Süreleri
(Mülga bir ila dördüncü cümleler: 2/7/2018-KHK-703/167 md.) Başkanlık ve üyelikler, yenilenme hariç, görev süresi dolmadan herhangi bir sebeple boşaldığı takdirde, boşalan yerlere bir ay içinde seçim ve atama yapılır. Bu halde atanan, yerine atandığı kimsenin süresini tamamlar.
Kurul Başkan ve üyelerinin süreleri dolmadan herhangi bir nedenle görevlerine son verilemez. Ancak, Kurul kararı ile, atanmaları için gerekli şartları kaybettikleri veya durumlarının bu Kanunun 25 inci maddesine aykırı düştüğü anlaşılan ya da Kanunla verilen görevle ilgili olarak suç işledikleri mahkeme kararı ile sabit olan Kurul Başkan ve üyelerinin görevleri sona erer.
