Additional Article 1: Unregistered population

Chapter Five: Miscellaneous Provisions

(1) Persons who, for any reason, have not been entered in the family registers until completing the age of eighteen and who have no bond of citizenship with a foreign state shall acquire Turkish citizenship upon submitting a medical report showing their kinship with their mother or father or, if these have died, with their siblings, if any.

(1) Onsekiz yaşını tamamlayıncaya kadar herhangi bir nedenle aile kütüklerine kaydedilmemiş olan ve yabancı bir devletle vatandaşlık bağı bulunmayan kişiler; ana veya baba, bunların ölmüş olması halinde, varsa kardeşleri ile hısımlığını gösterir tıbbî rapor ibraz etmeleri durumunda Türk vatandaşlığını kazanır.
