(1) Death events shall not be notified by the civil registry directorate to institutions and notaries on paper. Institutions and notaries shall ascertain death events electronically. Where, due to force majeure, information relating to death events cannot be transmitted electronically, it may be sent on paper.
(2) The provisions of Article 69 of the Notaries Law No. 1512 of 18/1/1972 and of Article 150 of Law No. 213 that are contrary to this Law shall not apply.

EK MADDE 4 · Ölüm olayının tespiti
(Ek: 19/10/2017-7039/25 md.)
(1) Ölüm olayları, nüfus müdürlüğünce kurum ve noterlere kâğıt ortamında bildirilmez. Kurum ve noterler ölüm olaylarının tespitini elektronik ortamda yapar. Mücbir sebeplerle ölüm olaylarına ilişkin bilgilerin elektronik ortamda gönderilememesi hâllerinde kâğıt ortamında gönderilebilir.
(2) 18/1/1972 tarihli ve 1512 sayılı Noterlik Kanununun 69 uncu maddesinin ve 213 sayılı Kanunun 150 nci maddesinin bu Kanuna aykırı hükümleri uygulanmaz.
