Chief competition experts, competition experts and assistant competition experts hold the status and authority of professional personnel.
Added paragraph: 16/6/2020, Law No. 7246, Art. 7 Upon their appointment as competition experts, assistant competition experts shall benefit, in accordance with the same procedures and principles, from grade promotion under item (11) of paragraph (A) of the "Common Provisions" section of Article 36 of Civil Servants Law No. 657 dated 14/7/1965.

Rekabet başuzman, uzman ve yardımcıları meslek personeli sıfat ve yetkisini taşır.
(Ek fıkra:16/6/2020-7246/7 md.) Rekabet uzman yardımcıları, rekabet uzmanlığına atanmalarında 14/7/1965 tarihli ve 657 sayılı Devlet Memurları Kanununun 36 ncı maddesinin “Ortak Hükümler” bölümünün (A) fıkrasının (11) numaralı bendine göre derece yükselmesinden aynı usul ve esaslara göre yararlandırılır.
