The President and members of the Board and the other personnel are subject to the Retirement Fund Law. Persons subject to Civil Servants Law No. 657 who are appointed as President or members of the Board, and those who take office in the Authority, shall, upon the expiry of their terms of office, return to the civil service and be appointed to a post appropriate to their situation. In that case, the periods spent in the Authority shall be taken into account in their service in accordance with the provisions of the law to which they are subject.
These provisions shall also apply to the president, members, experts or other personnel coming from universities, without prejudice to the requirements necessary for obtaining academic titles.
For retirement purposes, the President of the Board shall be deemed equivalent to the President of Strategy and Budget of the Presidency of the Republic, the members of the Board to Directors General of Ministries, and Heads of Department to Directors General of Ministries. For retirement purposes, the situation of the other personnel shall be set out in a regulation to be prepared by the Presidency and put into force with the approval of the Board.

MADDE 38 · Emeklilik ve Hizmet Sürelerinin Değerlendirilmesi
Kurul Başkan ve üyeleri ile diğer personel Emekli Sandığı Kanununa tabidir.657 sayılı Devlet Memurları Kanununa tabi kimselerden Kurul Başkanlığına veya üyeliklerine atananlar ile Kurumda görev alanlar görev sürelerinin sona ermesi halinde yeniden Devlet memurluğuna dönerek durumlarına uygun bir göreve atanırlar. Bu takdirde, Kurumda geçirdikleri süreler tabi oldukları kanun hükümlerine göre hizmetlerinde değerlendirilir.
Bu hükümler, akademik unvanların kazanılması için gerekli şartlar saklı olmak üzere üniversitelerden gelen başkan ve üyelerle uzman veya diğer personel hakkında da uygulanır.
Emeklilik açısından Kurul Başkanı Cumhurbaşkanlığı Strateji ve Bütçe Başkanı, Kurul üyeleri Bakanlık Genel Müdürleri, Daire Başkanları Bakanlık Genel Müdürleri ile aynı düzeyde kabul edilir. Emeklilik açısından diğer personelin durumu, Başkanlığın hazırlayacağı, Kurulun onayı ile yürürlüğe konacak yönetmelikte gösterilir.
