Article 96: D. Quorum for meetings and decisions

PART TWO: FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND DUTIES › Chapter Four: Political Rights and Duties

Amended first paragraph: 31/5/2007, Law No. 5678, Art. 3 The Grand National Assembly of Türkiye shall convene with at least one third of the total number of members in all its proceedings, including elections. Unless otherwise stipulated in the Constitution, the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye shall take decisions by an absolute majority of those present; however, the quorum for decisions shall under no circumstances be less than one quarter of the total number of members plus one.

MADDE 96 · D. Toplantı ve karar yeter sayısı

(Değişik birinci fıkra: 31/5/2007-5678/3 md.) Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi, yapacağı seçimler dahil bütün işlerinde üye tamsayısının en az üçte biri ile toplanır. Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi, Anayasada başkaca bir hüküm yoksa toplantıya katılanların salt çoğunluğu ile karar verir; ancak karar yeter sayısı hiçbir şekilde üye tamsayısının dörtte birinin bir fazlasından az olamaz.
