Article 97: E. Public nature and publication of debates

PART TWO: FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND DUTIES › Chapter Four: Political Rights and Duties

Debates in the Plenary of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye shall be public and shall be published verbatim in the Journal of Records.

The Grand National Assembly of Türkiye may hold closed sittings in accordance with the provisions of its Rules of Procedure; the publication of debates of such sittings shall be subject to the decision of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.

Public debates in the Assembly may be freely published through all kinds of media, unless a decision to the contrary is adopted by the Assembly upon a proposal of the Bureau at that sitting.

MADDE 97 · E. Görüşmelerin açıklığı ve yayımlanması

Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi Genel Kurulundaki görüşmeler açıktır ve tutanak dergisinde tam olarak yayımlanır.

Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi İçtüzük hükümlerine göre kapalı oturumlar yapabilir, bu oturumlardaki görüşmelerin yayımı Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi kararına bağlıdır.

Meclisteki açık görüşmelerin, o oturumdaki Başkanlık Divanının teklifi üzerine Meclisce başkaca bir karar alınmadıkça, her türlü vasıta ile yayımı serbesttir.
