Article 37: II. Officers

Book One: LAW OF PERSONS › Part One: NATURAL PERSONS › Chapter Two: PERSONAL STATUS REGISTER A. In general

The personal status register is kept by officers appointed by the State. It is the duty of these officers to keep the register entries and to issue copies.

The powers of a civil registry officer may be conferred, with the approval of the Presidency of the Republic, on the representatives of Türkiye in foreign countries.

MADDE 37 · II. Görevliler

Kişisel durum sicili, Devletçe atanan memurlar tarafından tutulur. Sicil kayıtlarını tutmak ve örnek vermek bu memurların görevidir.

Yabancı memleketlerdeki Türkiye temsilcilerine, Cumhurbaşkanlığının onayı ile nüfus memurluğu yetkisi verilebilir.
