Article 38: Clerical errors

Part Four: Corrections of Records › Chapter Two: Clerical Errors and Cancellation of Civil Registry Records

(1) Among the information listed in Article 7 of this Law that must be registered in the family registers, information that is present in the supporting document but has been registered in the civil registers incorrectly or incompletely or has not been entered at all, as well as duplicate records, shall be regarded as clerical errors. Such clerical errors shall be corrected or completed by the General Directorate or by the civil registry directorates.

MADDE 38 · Maddî hatalar

(1) Bu Kanunun 7 nci maddesinde sayılan aile kütüklerine tescil edilmesi gereken bilgilerden; dayanak belgesinde bulunduğu halde nüfus kütüklerine hatalı veya eksik olarak tescil edilen ya da hiç yazılmayan bilgiler veya mükerrer kayıtlar maddî hata kapsamında değerlendirilir. Bu tür maddî hatalar Genel Müdürlükçe ya da nüfus müdürlükleri tarafından düzeltilir veya tamamlanır.
