(1) Officials responsible for registering civil status events shall be obliged to register in the family registers supporting documents drawn up at the civil registry directorate that must be registered in the family registers at the time of the transaction, and supporting documents drawn up by other authorities within seven days from the date on which they reach the civil registry directorate, and to send a copy thereof to the General Directorate.

MADDE 54 · Tescil görevi ve süre
(1) Nüfus olaylarını tescil etmekle görevli memurlar, nüfus müdürlüğünde düzenlenen ve aile kütüklerine tescil edilmesi gereken dayanak belgelerini işlem anında, diğer makamlarca düzenlenen dayanak belgelerini ise nüfus müdürlüğüne intikal ettiği tarihten itibaren yedi gün içinde aile kütüklerine tescil etmekle ve bir örneğini Genel Müdürlüğe göndermekle yükümlüdürler.
