(1) Pursuant to this Law;
a) Public officials who are responsible for notifying civil status events and who fail to perform these duties within the time limits specified in this Law shall, even if the act constitutes another offence, be given an administrative fine of 25 New Turkish Liras (YTL) by decision of the district civil registry director of that place upon the proposal of the civil registry officer.

c) Amended: 14/1/2016, Law No. 6661, Art. 14 An administrative fine of 50 Turkish liras shall be imposed on those who fail to fulfil the obligation to notify a change of address within the time limit, and of 1000 Turkish liras on those who make untrue declarations, by local administrative chiefs within the country and by foreign missions abroad.
(2) Administrative fines imposed abroad shall be collected, at the local currency equivalent at the time of the transaction, in the currency in which consular revenues are collected in the country where they are imposed.
(3) Pursuant to this Law;

MADDE 68 · İdarî para cezaları
(1) Bu Kanuna göre;
a) Nüfus olaylarını bildirmekle görevli olup, bu görevlerini bu Kanunda belirtilen süreler içinde yerine getirmeyen kamu görevlilerine, fiil başka bir suç oluştursa bile, nüfus memurunun teklifi üzerine o yerin ilçe nüfus müdürünün kararı ile 25 YTL idarî para cezası verilir.

c) (Değişik: 14/1/2016-6661/14 md.) Adres değişikliğini bildirme yükümlülüğünü süresi içinde yerine getirmeyenlere 50 Türk lirası, gerçeğe aykırı beyanda bulunanlara 1000 Türk lirası idarî para cezası, yurt içinde mülkî idare amirlerince, yurt dışında ise dış temsilciliklerce verilir.
(2) Yurt dışında verilen idarî para cezaları, işlem sırasında mahallî para karşılığı verildiği ülkede konsolosluk hasılatının tahsil edildiği para birimi üzerinden tahsil edilir.
