Article 631: E. Devolution of the estate to the State

Book Three: LAW OF SUCCESSION › Part Two: DEVOLUTION OF THE ESTATE › Chapter Two: EFFECTS OF THE DEVOLUTION OF THE ESTATE › Division Three: OFFICIAL INVENTORY

Where the estate passes to the State, the civil court of peace shall ex officio draw up an official inventory of the estate in accordance with the above procedures.

The State shall be liable for the debts entered in the inventory only to the extent of the values it has acquired through the succession.

Mirasın Devlete geçmesi hâlinde sulh mahkemesi, re'sen yukarıdaki usuller uyarınca terekenin resmî defterini düzenler.

Devlet, deftere yazılan borçlardan sadece miras yoluyla edindiği değerler ölçüsünde sorumludur.
