(1) A woman who acquires Turkish citizenship by marriage shall be registered in her husband's household. Where the marriage of a woman so registered in the family registers ends otherwise than by death, her record shall be moved to the end of the register in which she is recorded.
(2) A man who acquires Turkish citizenship by marriage shall be registered in the household to which his wife's record was moved upon marriage. Where the marriage ends otherwise than by death, the wife's record shall be moved to the household in which she was recorded before the marriage, while the husband's record shall remain in the household in which it is recorded.

MADDE 25 · Evlenmekle Türk vatandaşlığını kazananların tescili
(1) Evlenmekle Türk vatandaşlığını kazanan kadın, kocasının hanesine tescil edilir. Bu şekilde aile kütüklerine tescil edilen kadının ölüm dışında evliliğinin sona ermesi halinde kaydı, kayıtlı bulunduğu kütüğün sonuna taşınır.
(2) Evlenmekle Türk vatandaşlığını kazanan erkek karısının evlenmekle kaydının taşındığı haneye tescil edilir. Evliliğin ölüm dışında sona ermesi halinde kadının kaydı evlenmeden önce kayıtlı bulunduğu haneye taşınır, erkeğin kaydı ise kayıtlı bulunduğu hanede kalır.
