Article 49: Extension and cancellation of the residence permit for victims of human trafficking

Part Two: Foreigners › Chapter Two: Residence

(1) A residence permit granted for the purpose of providing a recovery and reflection period may be extended for periods of at most six months each on account of the victim's safety, health or special circumstances. However, these periods may in no case exceed three years in total.

(2) The residence permits of foreigners regarding whom there is strong suspicion that they are or may be victims of human trafficking shall be cancelled where it is determined that they have, on their own initiative, re-established contact with the perpetrators of the offence.

MADDE 49 · İnsan ticareti mağduru ikamet izninin uzatılması ve iptali

(1) İyileşme ve düşünme süresi tanımak amacıyla verilen ikamet izni, mağdurun güvenliği, sağlığı veya özel durumu nedeniyle en fazla altışar aylık sürelerle uzatılabilir. Ancak, bu süreler hiçbir şekilde toplam üç yılı geçemez.

(2) İnsan ticareti mağduru olduğu veya olabileceği yönünde kuvvetli şüphe bulunan yabancıların, kendi girişimleriyle suçun failleriyle yeniden bağ kurduklarının belirlendiği durumlarda ikamet izinleri iptal edilir.
