Chapter Three: Loss of Turkish Citizenship
(1) The loss of Turkish citizenship through the right of option takes effect as of the date of the decision determining the existence of the conditions for the exercise of this right.
(2) The provisions of Article 27 shall apply to the spouses and children of persons who renounce Turkish citizenship by exercising the right of option.

MADDE 35 · Seçme hakkı ile Türk vatandaşlığını kaybetmenin geçerliliği ve sonuçları
(1) Seçme hakkı ile Türk vatandaşlığının kaybı, bu hakkın kullanılmasına dair şartların varlığının tespitine ilişkin karar tarihinden itibaren hüküm ifade eder.
(2) Seçme hakkını kullanarak Türk vatandaşlığından ayrılan kişilerin eşleri ve çocukları hakkında 27 nci madde hükümleri uygulanır.
