Chapter Four: Parties and Third Parties Joining the Action › Division Four: Representation in Litigation
(1) If the judge finds that one of the parties is not competent to pursue his or her action personally, the judge may, by granting that party an appropriate time limit, decide that the party pursue the action through an attorney. A party who does not comply with the decision rendered shall be dealt with in accordance with the provisions applicable in the event of his or her absence.

MADDE 80 · Tarafın davasını takip edebilecek ehliyette olmaması
(1) Hâkim, taraflardan birisinin, davasını bizzat takip edecek yeterlikte olmadığını görürse, ona uygun bir süre tanıyarak, davasını vekil aracılığıyla takip etmesine karar verebilir. Verilen karara uymayan taraf hakkında, yokluğu hâlindeki hükümlere göre işlem yapılır.
