(1) Actions filed before the date of entry into force of this Law shall continue to be heard in the courts in which they were filed.
(2) As a rule, consumer transactions entered into before the date of entry into force of this Law, whether they are legally binding and their consequences shall be governed by the provisions of the law that was in force when those transactions took place. However:
a) The provisions, contrary to this Law, of contracts concluded before the date of entry into force of this Law and still valid shall not apply as of the date of entry into force.
b) If peremptory periods and limitation periods that began to run before the date of entry into force of this Law have not expired, the peremptory period or limitation period shall expire upon the lapse of the period provided for in this Law.
(3) Until the regulations provided for in this Law enter into force, the provisions, not contrary to this Law, of the regulations and other legislation issued on the basis of the Law on Consumer Protection repealed by this Law shall apply.

GEÇİCİ MADDE 1 · Geçiş hükümleri
(1) Bu Kanunun yürürlüğe girdiği tarihten önce açılmış olan davalar açıldıkları mahkemelerde görülmeye devam eder.
(2) Bu Kanunun yürürlüğe girdiği tarihten önceki tüketici işlemlerine, bunların hukuken bağlayıcı olup olmadıklarına ve sonuçlarına bu işlemler hangi kanun yürürlükte iken gerçekleşmiş ise kural olarak o kanun hükümleri uygulanır. Ancak:
a) Bu Kanunun yürürlüğe girdiği tarihten önce kurulan ve hâlen geçerli sözleşmelerin bu Kanuna aykırı hükümleri yürürlük tarihinden itibaren uygulanmaz.
b) Bu Kanunun yürürlüğe girdiği tarihten önce işlemeye başlamış hak düşürücü süreler ile zamanaşımı süreleri dolmamış ise bu Kanunda öngörülen sürenin geçmesiyle hak düşürücü süre veya zamanaşımı süresi dolmuş olur.
(3) Bu Kanunda öngörülen yönetmelikler yürürlüğe girinceye kadar, bu Kanunla yürürlükten kaldırılan Tüketicinin Korunması Hakkında Kanuna dayanılarak çıkartılan yönetmelik ve diğer mevzuatın, bu Kanuna aykırı olmayan hükümleri uygulanır.
