Tax Inspectors and Assistant Tax Inspectors, Treasury comptrollers and trainee Treasury comptrollers, and foreign exchange control authorities are empowered to carry out examinations and investigations concerning those who act contrary to the provisions of this Law and, where indications of an offence are found during the investigation, to perform acts in respect of the suspects and those found to be connected with the offence in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure on seizure and search.

Vergi Müfettişleri ve Vergi Müfettiş Yardımcıları, Hazine kontrolörleri ve stajyer Hazine kontrolörleri ve kambiyo murakabe mercileri bu kanun hükümlerine aykırı hareket edenler hakkında tetkikat ve tahkikat yapmak ve tahkikat sırasında suç emareleri bulunursa maznunlar ve suçla ilgisi görülenler nezdinde Ceza Muhakemeleri Usulü Kanununun zabıt ve arama hakkındaki hükümleri gereğince muamele ifa etmek salahiyetini haizdirler.
