(1) The terms of a fixed-term credit contract cannot be changed to the detriment of the consumer.
(2) Where the interest rate is increased in open-ended credit contracts, it is mandatory to notify the consumer in writing, on paper or by means of a durable medium, thirty days before this change enters into force. This notice shall include details concerning the change in the amount, number and intervals of the payments to be made after the new interest rate enters into force. Where the interest rate is increased, the new interest rate cannot be applied retroactively. The consumer shall not be affected by the interest increase if, at the latest within sixty days from the date of notice, the consumer pays the entire debt and ceases to use the credit.

MADDE 26 · Sözleşmede değişiklik yapılması
(1) Belirli süreli kredi sözleşmesinin şartları, tüketici aleyhine değiştirilemez.
(2) Belirsiz süreli kredi sözleşmelerinde faiz oranının artırılması durumunda, bu değişikliğin yürürlüğe girmesinden otuz gün önce, tüketiciye kâğıt üzerinde veya kalıcı veri saklayıcısı aracılığıyla yazılı olarak bildirilmesi zorunludur. Bu bildirimde, yeni faiz oranının yürürlüğe girmesinden sonra yapılacak ödemelerin tutarı, sayısı ile aralıklarının değişmesine ilişkin ayrıntılara yer verilir. Faiz oranının artırılması hâlinde, yeni faiz oranı geriye dönük olarak uygulanamaz. Tüketici, bildirim tarihinden itibaren en geç altmış gün içinde borcun tamamını ödediği ve kredi kullanmaya son verdiği takdirde faiz artışından etkilenmez.
