(1) Manufacturers and importers shall be obliged to issue a warranty certificate, the content of which is determined by regulation, for goods manufactured or imported for consumers. The responsibility for completing this certificate and providing it to the consumer shall lie with the seller.
(2) The warranty period shall be a minimum of two years, beginning from the date of delivery of the goods. However, due to their nature, the warranty conditions of certain goods may be determined by the Ministry using another unit of measurement.
(3) Where the consumer has exercised the right of repair among the optional rights set out in Article 11 of this Law, the consumer may exercise the other optional rights set out in Article 11 if the goods break down again within the warranty period, if the maximum time required for repair is exceeded, or if it is established that repair is not possible. The seller may not reject the consumer's request. Where this request is not fulfilled, the seller, manufacturer and importer shall be jointly and severally liable.
(4) Which goods must be sold with a warranty certificate and other procedures and principles of implementation shall be determined by regulation.

MADDE 56 · Garanti belgesi
(1) Üretici ve ithalatçılar, tüketiciye yönelik üretilen veya ithal edilen mallar için içeriği yönetmelikle belirlenen bir garanti belgesi düzenlemek zorundadır. Bu belgenin tekemmül ettirilerek tüketiciye verilmesi sorumluluğu satıcıya aittir.
(2) Garanti süresi malın teslim tarihinden itibaren başlamak üzere asgari iki yıldır. Ancak, özelliği nedeniyle bazı malların garanti şartları Bakanlıkça başka bir ölçü birimi ile belirlenebilir.
(3) Tüketici bu Kanunun 11 inci maddesinde belirtilen seçimlik haklarından onarım hakkını kullanmışsa, malın garanti süresi içinde tekrar arızalanması veya tamiri için gereken azami sürenin aşılması veya tamirinin mümkün bulunmadığının anlaşılması hâllerinde 11 inci maddede yer alan diğer seçimlik haklarını kullanabilir. Satıcı tüketicinin talebini reddedemez. Bu talebin yerine getirilmemesi durumunda satıcı, üretici ve ithalatçı müteselsilen sorumludur.
(4) Hangi malların garanti belgesi ile satılmak zorunda olduğu ile diğer uygulama usul ve esasları yönetmelikle belirlenir.
