Article 60: Consumer awards

Part Five: Informing Consumers and Protecting Their Interests

(1) Consumer awards are awards given for the purposes of protecting consumers, raising their awareness and encouraging them to exercise their statutory rights.

(2) It is a fundamental principle that awards given under the name of consumer award and similar names be given without securing any benefit, and that such awards be based on objective criteria announced in advance.

(3) The procedures and principles relating to the granting of consumer awards shall be determined by regulation.

MADDE 60 · Tüketici ödülleri

(1) Tüketici ödülleri, tüketicinin korunması ve bilinçlendirilmesi ile yasal haklarını kullanmaları konusunda özendirilmesi amaçlarına yönelik olarak verilen ödüllerdir.

(2) Tüketici ödülü ve benzeri isimler altında verilen ödüllerin herhangi bir menfaat temin edilmeksizin verilmesi ve bu ödüllerin önceden ilan edilen objektif kriterlere dayanması esastır.

(3) Tüketici ödülü verilmesine ilişkin usul ve esaslar yönetmelikle belirlenir.
