(1) It is mandatory to affix to goods offered for retail sale, or to their packaging or containers, in an easily visible and legible manner, a label showing the sales price including all taxes payable by the consumer and the unit price, and containing the place of production and distinguishing features; where it is not possible to affix a label, lists containing the same information shall be posted in appropriate places so as to be visible. Lists showing the tariffs and prices of services shall also be drawn up and posted in accordance with this Article.
(2) Where there is a difference between the price stated on labels, tariffs and price lists and the price charged at the checkout, the price in favour of the consumer shall apply.
(3) The discounted sales price and the pre-discount price of goods or services offered at a discount shall be shown on tariffs and price lists and labels. The burden of proving that goods or services offered at a discount are offered for sale at a price lower than the pre-discount price shall lie with the seller or provider.
(4) The Ministry, municipalities and the relevant chambers shall be responsible for carrying out work relating to the implementation and monitoring of the provisions of this Article.
(5) Labels, tariffs and price lists, the duration of discounted sales and other procedures and principles of implementation shall be determined by regulation.

MADDE 54 · Fiyat etiketi
(1) Perakende satışa arz edilen malların veya ambalajlarının yahut kaplarının üzerine kolaylıkla görülebilir ve okunabilir şekilde tüketicinin ödeyeceği tüm vergiler dâhil satış fiyatı ve birim fiyatını gösteren, üretim yeri ve ayırıcı özelliklerini içeren etiket konulması; etiket konulması mümkün olmayan hâllerde aynı bilgileri kapsayan listelerin görülebilecek şekilde uygun yerlere asılması zorunludur. Hizmetlerin tarife ve fiyatlarını gösteren listeler de bu madde hükmüne göre düzenlenerek asılır.
(2) Etiket, tarife ve fiyat listelerinde belirtilen fiyat ile kasa fiyatı arasında fark olması durumunda tüketici lehine olan fiyat uygulanır.
(3) İndirimli satışa konu edilen mal veya hizmetlerin indirimli satış fiyatı, indirimden önceki fiyatı, tarife ve fiyat listeleri ile etiketlerinde gösterilir. İndirimli satışa konu edilen mal veya hizmetlerin indirimden önceki fiyattan daha düşük fiyatla satışa sunulduğunun ispatı satıcı veya sağlayıcıya aittir.
(4) Bakanlık, belediyeler ve ilgili odalar, bu madde hükümlerinin uygulanması ve izlenmesine ilişkin işleri yürütmekle görevlidirler.
(5) Etiket, tarife ve fiyat listeleri, indirimli satışlara ilişkin süre ile diğer uygulama usul ve esasları yönetmelikle belirlenir.
