Where good management so requires according to local custom, the usufructuary is obliged to insure the asset against fire and other risks for the benefit of the owner.
In that case, or where the usufruct has been established over an insured asset, the usufructuary is obliged to pay the insurance premiums for the duration of the right.

MADDE 815 · d. Sigorta ettirme
Yerel âdetlere göre iyi bir yönetimin gereği olduğu takdirde intifa hakkı sahibi, malikin lehine malı yangına ve diğer tehlikelere karşı sigorta ettirmekle yükümlüdür.
Bu durumda veya intifa hakkının sigortalı bir mal üzerinde kurulmuş olması hâlinde intifa hakkı sahibi, hakkının devamı süresince sigorta primlerini ödemekle yükümlüdür.
