Article 820: a. Scope of enjoyment

A usufruct over a receivable confers the power to acquire its yield.

Demands for payment addressed to the debtor and dispositions over negotiable instruments must be made jointly by the creditor and the usufructuary, and any notice given by the debtor for the purpose of paying the debt must be addressed to both of them.

If the receivable is endangered, each of the creditor and the usufructuary may request the other to participate in taking the measures required by good management.

MADDE 820 · a. Yararlanmanın kapsamı

Bir alacak üzerindeki intifa hakkı, onun getirisini edinme yetkisi verir.

Borçluya karşı yapılacak ödeme isteminin ve kıymetli evrak üzerindeki tasarrufların alacaklı ve intifa hakkı sahibi tarafından birlikte yapılması, borcunu ödemek üzere borçlu tarafından yapılacak bildirimin de bunların her ikisine yöneltilmesi gerekir.

Alacak tehlikeye düşerse, alacaklı ve intifa hakkı sahibinden her biri, diğerinden iyi bir yönetimin gerektirdiği önlemleri almaya katılmasını isteyebilir.
