Article 502: A. Definition

Part Two: Special Obligational Relationships › Chapter Nine: Mandate Relationships › Division One: Contract of Mandate

A contract of mandate is a contract whereby the agent undertakes to conduct a business or carry out a transaction of the principal.

The provisions on mandate shall also apply, to the extent compatible with their nature, to contracts for the provision of services not regulated in this Code.

The agent shall be entitled to remuneration if so provided by contract or custom.

MADDE 502 · A. Tanımı

Vekâlet sözleşmesi, vekilin vekâlet verenin bir işini görmeyi veya işlemini yapmayı üstlendiği sözleşmedir.

Vekâlete ilişkin hükümler, niteliklerine uygun düştükleri ölçüde, bu Kanunda düzenlenmemiş olan işgörme sözleşmelerine de uygulanır.

Sözleşme veya teamül varsa vekil, ücrete hak kazanır.
