Chapter Two: Effects of Obligations › Division One: Performance of Obligations A. In general
Unless it is inferred from the terms or nature of the contract or from the circumstances that the parties intended otherwise, the debtor may perform before the expiry of the period. However, unless required by law, contract or custom, the debtor may not make a deduction on account of early performance.

Sözleşmenin hükümlerinden veya özelliğinden ya da durumun gereğinden tarafların aksini kastettikleri anlaşılmadıkça borçlu, edimini sürenin sona ermesinden önce ifa edebilir. Ancak, kanun veya sözleşme ya da âdet gereği olmadıkça borçlu, erken ifada bulunması sebebiyle indirim yapamaz.
