(1) The persons or organisations listed below are obliged to accept the duty of expert:
a) Official experts and those included in the lists specified in Article 268.
b) Those who cannot practise their profession or craft without knowing the subject on which they are to be consulted.
c) Those officially authorised to practise a profession or art in relation to the subject on which they are to be consulted.
(2) These persons may refrain from acting as experts only on the grounds for refusing to testify or on another ground acceptable to the court.

MADDE 270 · Bilirkişilik görevini kabulle yükümlü olanlar
(1) Aşağıda sayılmış olan kişi ya da kuruluşlar, bilirkişilik görevini kabulle yükümlüdürler:
a) Resmî bilirkişiler ile 268 inci maddede belirtilmiş bulunan listelerde yer almış olanlar.
b) Bilgisine başvurulacak konuyu bilmeksizin, meslek veya zanaatlarını icra etmesine olanak bulunmayanlar.
c) Bilgisine başvurulacak konu hakkında, meslek veya sanat icrasına resmen yetkili kılınmış olanlar.
(2) Bu kişiler, ancak tanıklıktan çekinme sebeplerine veya mahkemece kabul edilebilir diğer bir sebebe dayanarak, bilirkişilikten çekinebilirler.
