Chapter One: Subject-Matter Jurisdiction, Territorial Jurisdiction and Determination of the Forum › Division Two: Territorial Jurisdiction
(1) The court of general jurisdiction is the court of the domicile of the defendant natural or legal person at the date on which the action is brought.
(2) Domicile shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of the Turkish Civil Code No. 4721 dated 22/11/2001.

MADDE 6 · Genel yetkili mahkeme
(1) Genel yetkili mahkeme, davalı gerçek veya tüzel kişinin davanın açıldığı tarihteki yerleşim yeri mahkemesidir.
(2) Yerleşim yeri, 22/11/2001 tarihli ve 4721 sayılı Türk Medenî Kanunu hükümlerine göre belirlenir.
