Article 596: II. Opening of the will

Book Three: LAW OF SUCCESSION › Part Two: DEVOLUTION OF THE ESTATE › Chapter Two: EFFECTS OF THE DEVOLUTION OF THE ESTATE › Division One: PROTECTIVE MEASURES

The will, regardless of whether it is valid, shall be opened by the judge of the civil court of peace of the domicile of the deceased within one month from its delivery and read out to the interested persons.

The known heirs and other interested persons shall be summoned to be present, if they so wish, at the opening of the will.

The same procedures shall also be carried out for wills of the deceased that come to light later.

MADDE 596 · II. Vasiyetnamenin açılması

Vasiyetname, geçerli olup olmadığına bakılmaksızın tesliminden başlayarak bir ay içinde mirasbırakanın yerleşim yeri sulh hâkimi tarafından açılır ve ilgililere okunur.

Bilinen mirasçılar ve diğer ilgililer vasiyetnamenin açılması sırasında diledikleri takdirde hazır bulunmak üzere çağrılır.

Mirasbırakanın sonradan ortaya çıkan vasiyetnameleri için de aynı işlemler yapılır.
