Engineers, architects and urban planners shall assume the technical responsibility for the preparation of current maps and zoning plans and for their implementation, according to their specialisation, fields of work and the relevant laws.
Amended: 26/4/1989, Law No. 3542, Art. 2 Engineers and architects, according to their fields of specialisation and the relevant laws, together with technical staff whose duties, powers and responsibilities shall be regulated by regulation, shall assume the preparation of the architectural, structural and all kinds of plans, projects, drawings and calculations of buildings and the technical responsibilities relating to their implementation.

Halihazır harita ve imar planlarının hazırlanması ve bunların uygulanmasının fenni mesuliyetini; uzmanlık, çalışma konuları ve ilgili kanunlarına göre, mühendisler, mimarlar, şehir plancıları deruhte ederler.

Yapıların, mimari, statik ve hertürlü plan, proje, resim ve hesaplarının hazırlanmasını ve bunların uygulanmasıyla ilgili fenni mesuliyetleri, uzmanlık konularına ve ilgili kanunlarına göre mühendisler, mimarlar ile görev, yetki ve sorumlulukları yönetmelikle düzenlenecek olan fen adamları deruhte ederler.
