Article 126: Identification of the victim

Book Two: Special Provisions › Part Two: Offences Against Persons › Chapter Eight: Offences against Honour

(1) In the commission of the offence of insult, even where the name of the victim is not expressly stated or the imputation is made in a veiled manner, if there are circumstances leaving no doubt as to its nature and as to its being directed at the person of the victim, the name shall be deemed to have been stated and the insult to have been made openly.

MADDE 126 · Mağdurun belirlenmesi

(1) Hakaret suçunun işlenmesinde mağdurun ismi açıkça belirtilmemiş veya isnat üstü kapalı geçiştirilmiş olsa bile, eğer niteliğinde ve mağdurun şahsına yönelik bulunduğunda duraksanmayacak bir durum varsa, hem ismi belirtilmiş ve hem de hakaret açıklanmış sayılır.
