(1) A person who negligently causes:
a) A fire,
b) The collapse of a building, a landslide, an avalanche, a flood or an overflow,
shall, where the act is dangerous to the life, health or property of others, be punished with imprisonment from three months to one year.

MADDE 171 · Genel güvenliğin taksirle tehlikeye sokulması
(1) Taksirle;
a) Yangına,
b) Bina çökmesine, toprak kaymasına, çığ düşmesine, sel veya taşkına,
Neden olan kişi, fiilin başkalarının hayatı, sağlığı veya malvarlığı bakımından tehlikeli olması halinde, üç aydan bir yıla kadar hapis cezası ile cezalandırılır.
