In contracts for consideration and in cases where the conclusion of one contract depends on the conclusion of another, the persons concerned may appoint the land registry keeper or officer as escrow holder (yediadil). In this case, payment of the money by the officer to the persons entitled shall depend on the completion of the contracts. If the contracts are not completed, the officer shall immediately return the money to the person from whom it was received, in the presence of the persons concerned and before they disperse, and shall cancel the related transactions.

Bedelli akitlerde ve bir aktin yapılması diğerinin yapılmış olmasına bağlı olan hallerde alakalılar tapu sicil muhafız veya memurunu yediadil yapabilirler. Bu takdirde memur tarafından paranın hak sahiplerine verilmesi Akitlerin tamam olmasına bağlıdır. Akitler tamam olmazsa memur parayı kimden almış ise alakalılar dağılmadan huzurlarında derhal ona geri verir ve taallük ettiği muameleleri bozar.
