Part Three: Testimony, Expert Examination and Inspection › Chapter One: Testimony
(1) Witnesses shall take the oath separately before testifying. Where necessary, or where there is doubt as to whether it is appropriate to hear a person as a witness, the oath may be deferred until after the testimony.
(2) In the investigation phase, public prosecutors shall also administer the oath to witnesses.

MADDE 54 · Tanıklara yemin verilmesi
(1) Tanıklar, tanıklıktan önce ayrı ayrı yemin ederler. Gerektiğinde veya bir kimsenin tanık sıfatıyla dinlenilmesinin uygun olup olmadığında tereddüt varsa yemin, tanıklığından sonraya bırakılabilir.
(2) Soruşturma evresinde Cumhuriyet savcıları da tanıklara yemin verirler.
