Article 144: Hearing of the parties

Part Three: Written Procedure › Chapter Five: Taking of Evidence and Special Circumstances During the Taking of Evidence › Division One: Taking of Evidence

(1) During the taking of evidence, the court may summon both parties in accordance with the procedure and hear them on the facts asserted in the action.

(2) The time limit to be granted by the court to the two parties for appearing before the court to be heard may not be less than two weeks. Where necessary, this time limit may be extended or shortened by the court of its own motion or upon the request of either party.

MADDE 144 · Tarafların dinlenilmesi

(1) Tahkikat aşamasında mahkeme, her iki tarafı usulüne uygun olarak davet edip, davada ileri sürülen vakıalar hakkında dinleyebilir.

(2) Mahkemenin, dinlenilmek üzere mahkemeye gelmeleri için iki tarafa vereceği süre iki haftadan az olamaz. Bu süre, gerektiğinde, mahkemece resen veya iki taraftan birinin talebi üzerine uzatılabileceği gibi kısaltılabilir.
