During the notice periods, the employer shall be obliged to grant the employee the job-seeking leave necessary to find a new job, during working hours and without any deduction from wages. The job-seeking leave may not be less than two hours per day, and the employee may, if he or she so wishes, combine the job-seeking leave hours and use them collectively. However, an employee who wishes to use the job-seeking leave collectively shall be obliged to schedule it on the days immediately preceding the day of leaving the job and to notify the employer of this.
If the employer does not grant the new job-seeking leave or allows it to be used only partially, the wages for that period shall be paid to the employee.
If the employer makes the employee work during the job-seeking leave, the employer shall pay, in addition to the wage the employee would receive while on leave without performing any work, the wage for the period worked increased by one hundred per cent.
